Presenting new and dynamic challenges for all of us in particular the older population and those with chronic conditions or immunocompromised. With Active Home Healthcare, we can make it possible for older adults or the immunocompromised to follow the CDC’s recommendations for social distancing and quarantining to receive the health care services that they need, safely, from the comfort of their own home. We know that the care we deliver is lower risk with our extensive sanitary and protective precaution.
Every in-home provider must pass a daily health screening and be trained on proper infectious disease control and personal protective equipment (PPE) use ensuring the lowest possible risk for our clients. We are working hard to limit visitors to our branch locations, as well as our in-home clinicians to ensure they are at the smallest risk for exposing themselves and spreading it to others. In conjunction with limiting exposure to our clients and limitations on branch location visitors, Active HHC has created a multi-disciplinary task force to coordinate and evaluate each scenario during this ever-changing and scary time to ensure the safest protocols and actions are being taken for the care of our patients, their families, and our staff.
